They were not checking temperatures at the airport. The airport was super crowded in Cancun and they had no controls in place for social distancing. The resort checked when we arrived and I did not have a fever at that time.
We were there Sat the 25th through Wed 29th. Sat the pool was packed after 3pm-ish. I think a lot of people left Sun so it wasn't as busy after. Didn't check temps at airport but did at resort. Airport wan't crowded for us.
Normally when there is a dangerous flu going around, you are check via an infrared machine at customs/baggage claim. Is this not happening?

Yes, we left early. No, we didn’t know we had anything serious. Yes, we absolutely would rather be in the US if something more serious was wrong. And it was the right decision.
How long were you there, at TTR for your shortened trip? No symptoms when you left to go, sounds like? is that accurate?
