Not worried about it one bit. I truly do not think it is anything more than a flu. The media is making a priority story to smokescreen other things. Just my onion.
We feel the exact same way. We went to New Orleans at the end of January ( before the whole Pandemic Alerts). Got back home and wham, my wife was so sick for about 4 days, I had nothing. No one knew what it was or how to test for it at that time. She had the symptoms described but no fever.. We think it is just a matter of time someone comes into contact with it, gets it and has symptoms or doesn't.
Not if the people wearing the masks are not wearing correctly. I see so many people wearing masks that have their nose showing out the top of it. I get that it's the "droplets" that are needing to be contained but come on, if one is going to wear the mask, one should wear the mask the correct way.
A mask is not meant to protect you. Here in the part of Canada I live in wearing a mask has become common courtesy like holding a door open for someone or covering your mouth while you sneeze. I really can’t understand why some Americans are so against masks.....it mind blowing to the rest of the world.
It's not mind blowing at all. It's completely political and expounding beyond that simple explanation is to do so for sport <------mask wearing libertarian who's only doing it to make others more comfortable.
You sound so much like my wife and I... I wanted to make a mask that said: " I am only wearing this mask to give you a false sense of safety". Wife said it was too long and most people can't read. haha
Mask messaging in Canada is very different. I think far less politicized. Both sides of the floor are advocating masks, though have different views on a mandate or not. In Alberta it’s a bit funny. The did a poll which essentially went like. Do you believe masks work? Yes Do you support a mask policy? Yes Would you wear a mask if it were law? Yes Do you currently wear a mask? No... I have seen a huge uptick in mask usage this last week.
But Countries are as different as the people who live in them! I think that just about the only thing that folks can agree on is to disagree.
I disagree, we agree. Kiss my butt if you don't like it. Told you, we agree. They don't disagree, either.
