Anyone else concerned with another possible shutdown? We are supposed to arrive at TTR Aug27 but it’s looking like the US may shutdown.. we’ve already postponed our trip once so not sure if we can postpone again or would have to cancel.
We’re just trying to line up an August trip now...I haven’t heard a thing about any travel restrictions, and we’re not concerned at all. The only hoop we’re working through is the possibility of a mandatory quarantine with our jobs back home after the trip. We’re both working from home, so that shouldn’t be a big deal. We’d likely book this week once we get the ok from our employers.
Let's hope not! It's spiking is the US now, so it'll drop off in a few weeks. It's 100 degrees & 100% humidity in SE Texas now, so let it burn for a few more weeks here & down in Cancun also. We booked for last wkend in Aug, so hopefully it'll be safe enough...
Our trip to the Dominican was ruined by this COVID BS. The Dominican Government shut down all travel. We are going back to TTR July 29th and as long as we can fly we are going I dont give a shit what happens after that. We are not going to listen to any news or social media while there. Cant wait to be back in the best place on earth!
Optimistic, but doubt it is "spiking". Heard that too many times now, just to see a new spike in a few days. Three times we have booked for this summer and three times we have had to cancel, airlines, quarantine, etc... We just want to be at TTR right now and talk about anything except Covid-10 and politics.
