Just book it! My wife was a little hesitant not knowing what was in store, but by the time we were pulling up to get off at the dock she was ready to go the next day!
This is our first time to TTR and we are booked for the Aug 7th BC I believe. Dont know what yo expect lol
Ahhhh, the anticipation! Like kids waiting for Christmas morning. Our memories of awaiting the first visit are etched in our minds forever. That first trip was not a disappointment. Same for that first BC. It depends, could be anywhere from everything to nothing. Best advice is make it what you want it to be. Make your own fun and don’t be shy and wait for others. Many will join in the fun and shenanigans for good times had by all (well by some or many...be sure you are in this category).
It took us 5 TTR visits to book our 1st BC last year. It was a great time and we're booked again for Sept!!! It's a great way to let loose and meet like minded people from the resort. Don't worry, there will be a wide variety of "cruisers" on-board from professionals to novices like us! We told ourselves it's a must do at least once and now we've added it to our yearly stay! Yes, forgot to mention that. BC are on Mondays and Fridays. For some big groups Steve will add a special BC on one of the other days, typically Wed. For July, I saw he was adding Wed BC but that was because of Covid limits of 25% capacity, like 34 cruisers so Mon & Fri sold iut quickly. Cruise early in your trip and you will have friends the rest of your stay to hang out with based on the bonding and friendships made. Think kind of like a social club, fraternity, or sorority. First full day some do not like on first trip to TTR because you miss the flavor of TTR. Remember TTR and the BC are different beasts. For BC, there are no stinkin’ rulz! And remember, whatever happens on the BC, stays on the BC Last full day before traveling home some also avoid so that the trip home is not miserable due to potential nasty hangover. Enough said...
