So we are looking to book a trip in August and are weary for obvious reasons. Will we be allowed to travel to Mexico, allowed back, need to wear masks while we are there? Sssooooooo many questions. Who has the answers and what are your concerns and questions?

@Steve will be posting all as the resorts make info available.

Hard to know far enough in advance to book flights and hotel if the country or region might have over riding rules in place.

We cancelled our July trip due to our Canadian local gov’t rules about international travel but still have October planned for.

    1. Flights to Mexico from the US never stopped. I can't see this getting more strict as the situation improves. Several airlines have added extra flights to their itinerary from June.

The land border has closed both ways to non-residents, but no one travels to Cancun by road.

    2. Re getting home. As long as you have id and proof of citizenship (a passport) a country cannot refuse entry to its own citizens. Of course that depends on a flight being available but see 1 above.

    3. We'll have to see on that, but I very much doubt it. It will all be clear much sooner than August.
