We cancelled our trip on March 17th and have yet to see a refund. Has anyone else who booked directly through the temptations website seen a refund? Reserv hotel is who temptations uses but they’ve seem to have disappeared, no phone calls go through and emails get returned. Temptations has confirmed that it was cancelled and refunded on their end. This happen to anyone else?
The resort absolutely does not use that company for their own bookings. Somehow, this company was allowed to make a confusingly similar look-a-like website and use similar branding (colors, design, domain name). Many people book there thinking it is the official website. Third parties link to it by mistake thinking it is the official site, which increases their search engine rankings as a result.
Reserv hotel is just a third party reservation system, it doesn't take bookings. It's just the software solution that the resort uses to take theirs. ReservHotel | Simplified hospitality solutions on a central platform
I was thinking about booking straight through temptations website and called the number listed on the website and it is Right Connections Travel. I was booking for July so I’m assuming it’s not just for the takeover.
Good luck on getting Right Connections Travel to price match. I sent them 4 different quotes and they said they wouldn’t match them. Makes ya wonder who they will actually match.
you may think you are on the Temptation website but you likely are not. Don’t want to spread the fake website and give them business but right connections is a travel agent who does travel for a lot of lifestyle groups and the Temptation resort takeover. They set up a website for that takeover and made it look a lot like Temptation web site. They must of gotten a lot of non takeover hits and took advantage of that further and made it apply to all temptation bookings but it isn’t temptation
The whole idea of that site is to confuse, or I prefer to say deceive The actual Temptation site is: Temptation Cancun Resort, Adults Only Hotel in Cancun. (aff link) Note the almost identical structure and colors
