We just did the same thing rescheduled from March 19th-26 until June 9th-18th. Hopefully everything will be ok.
Flights out of Canada (WestJet anyway) have been cancelled as of March 22. There goes the April trip.
US government has just issued a Level 4 travel advisory that Americans not travel outside the US. Flights BACK to US are apparently being cancelled already. DO NOT GO TO CANCUN
Unfortunately due to this stupid Virus we are cancelling our May Trip, looking to re book for Halloween, fingers crossed
Damn Match, it is as if you feel personally responsible! Or you are like everyone’s Mom. So if I catch a flight out and they will not let me back in do I still have to pay my income taxes?? Seriously, did your Son arrive back home yet?
I just want everyone to be safe, and to stay put so we can get past this awful time as soon as possible! Yes, Alexander made it out of Madrid, thru Frankfurt and Toronto, and back to Vancouver. Having an EU passport helped tremendously in getting him thru the European airports. His father remained in Madrid, under lockdown. We are worried about him, but he is a stubborn Greek and would not leave. MSNBC says that the US is also considering shutting down domestic flights.
WE are canceling also, looking to rebook when this entire thing is clear and safe. There is word from the southwest who i called today they can't guarantee a flight back to the US. We will wait it out i guess
We've already had tomorrow's skiing trip to Italy/France cancelled, Florida in June must now be extremely doubtful...… hopefully we can look at September as being possible and some return to normality... stay well and safe everyone.... a rocky road ahead.....
