As the current situation is forcing us and many others to postpone due to the recent travel restrictions and uncertainty of the next 2-3 months we are curious of what dates are people thinking about? We are thinking somewhere in the last 2 weeks of September but wanted to get a census of what others are doing? This could be a great opportunity to make September a big party with everyone re-booking about the same time. Please share your thoughts as we all are in the same boat for the next few months.
October sounds like a good month too, always a fun group. April/Oct work for us with babysitters. September will be a busy month especially if the kids are just getting back to school, sports etc. We still have not officially cancelled April ... but it is looking less and less (and less) likely.
Well the wife threw a curve ball at me this morning. We are re-booking for September but she says that's too far away and wants to book July as well. July 5-12 September 18-28 I think with all the re-bookings September can turn out to be a good time.
September 4-26 is the throwback party. We would love to go then, or Halloween. But we have no idea what is going on with Sean's work, as he gets contracts for several months, and now his current show is shut down and thus everything will be pushed back. The week of August 31 thru Labour Day might be a possibility for us, immediately after we get home from Disneyworld with our son. Anyway, we will do our best to rebook for the summer or fall, but it will likely be on quite short notice, if we are able to go at all. The good news is that apart from Halloween, the resort is unlikely to sell out for any fall dates, so last-minute bookings will be possible. However, we are still stubbornly clinging to our current reservation, hoping for a miracle.
Already booked for 10 nights in September. Booked while the sale was on after they posted it as throwback month. Also have Halloween booked, so we will get our fix at some point. Still hoping for April though. Still 4 weeks out.
Resort is bringing back pre-reno playmakers (Chinos, I heard) and the old poolside games. And maybe Naked Tequila Volleyball!? There are not a lot of details on the TTR site.
