We had the pleasure of being at Temptations from January 21 – 28, 2020. This was our second trip and we stayed in a bash tower room. We are a couple male being 31 and female 27. If you have any questions, please let us know! Transfer to and from the Hotel: We used USA Transfers as we wanted a direct transfer right to the resort so we could start our vacation right away. They were right outside the terminal and had a driver waiting to take us. It was super affordable and our drivers were awesome. They were on time to pick us up and got us right to the terminal on the way home. I was super impressed and will be using them again. Check In/Initial Meeting Check in was pretty standard, we were able to get checked in fairly quickly. Our check in agent knew what he was talking about and was very quick. We had our initial sit down with Asher who went over everything about the resort and was everything was located. She asked about the premier membership and we told her that we were not interested in the meeting. She pushed a little bit but after we said No she respected our decision. We really liked the experience Asher provided at that meeting. Having the room key band on the wristband is a huge improvement. The one that they could have done to improve our experience here is that they could have explained the benefits of the tower a little more in-depth. We had no idea if we had any perks for staying in the tower beyond eating at Seaflirt for breakfast and having access to the Sky Bar. We had no idea if there were any other perks available to us. Bash Tower Room: I think we would book the Tower again as the room was quite a bit bigger and we quite enjoyed spending time on the balcony. The two sinks were a nice upgrade and the shower was big. The bed was super comfortable and we really liked the free room service and extra tv channels. Resort: The resort was well kept and they were always cleaning the public spaces. We spent most of our time at the Sexy pool when we could get a seat around the pool. They had a ton of them blocked off for premier members which went unused which was a little frustrating, to say the least. We understand that they need to try to make the program have perks but we will never buy into it for a discount when we can book online cheaper. We also wish that they would keep the hot tub open a little later and assign two bartenders to it. People: The people are really what make this place. There were all ages and all body types there. Its so nice to spend time at a resort where people don’t judge you and you can have a conversation with almost anyone. The best part is the conversations and plans that you can make with anyone at any time. Restaurants: This is where Temptations has a lot of work to do. We ate the Sutra (Asian) and Romanza (Italian) the most as they made amazing meals every single time. The first night we ate at Flame (Steak House) It was our worst experience as our meat was super fatty and it took 10 minutes for a waiter to assist us. We think that they could a better job with this restaurant. We had a meal at Sea Flirt but we were both a little drunk so we can’t really speak to this restaurant (Whoops). The buffet for breakfast was awesome and had the same thing day after day which was fine for us. The hidden gem is Sky 3.5 bar on the tower. They had by far the best food. The cheese sticks, curly fries and tacos changed our lives. Bash: Bash was so nice. We had lots of people at the resort when were there so we enjoyed spending time dancing and drinking. We even met some people that rented the cabanas and got to party with them. The shows were awesome to watch and they had lots of variety. As for participation in the dressing up, I would say it depends on the night but it was 40% dressed up and 60% not. We did our best to participate which was a lot of fun. Boobs Cruise: We went on the Boobs Cruise hosted by www.cancuncare.com. We love this cruise as it a great opportunity to let loose and meet other people. It’s a real party and the option to go swimming in the ocean is such a nice change. It is not for the prude though as if you're not into at least being topless, you probably should stay away. The Spa: This was our only bad experience! We won free Manicures at some sort of party on the rooftop bar. We decided to go on the last day. This was by far the worst Manicure that we have ever experienced. They made my wife’s fingers bleed, didn’t let the nail polish dry or use the drying lamps and scraped up her actual fingers. Then they ask you to fill out a paper asking them how they did and watch you fill it out. This could be done on an iPad without them being able to see. Overall: We love this resort. We love the atmosphere. The Playmakers that they have now are not as good as last year but still did a good job. The people make the resort and its amazing how many people you can make friends with. We go with the attitude that no one knows you and no one cares. If you can let loose and embrace what they are trying to do then you're going to have an amazing time.
What were the other perks of the Bash tower room? We are going in March for the first time and the website wasn't too informative.
Slightly bigger rooms, guaranteed ocean view, access to the rooftop free, special seating area at the pool, free porn channels...
What I can say about the tower rooms is they are bigger than the others rooms including the balconies, they have better insulation for the outside noise and the double sinks could make a difference if your wife take a lot of time be be ready lol. Disadvantages, some time the elevator take a long time or only one works, and if the rooms is closed to the Main Street you can hear the cars and buses notices in the morning
