Coco Bongo is a definitely a really fun time and as entertaining as any show I have seen in Vegas. Do not buy a table just get your tickets and tip your server and they will get you right down in the middle of the action if you choose. The shows are fabulous with some amazing acrobatics and theatre. It's hard to describe but definitely worth the cost. We didn't get there until after 11:00pm so if you like to stay up late and party you shouldn't miss any activity at TTR

We walked because we stayed only 3 blocks away. It's only about a 10 minute cab ride which doesnt cost much. I would definitely take a cab. There are promoters outside trying to get you in. Negotiate your price with them. I dont remember what we paid to get in probably half of what the original offer they gave us was. As far as tipping your waiter I might have tipped $75 total. By the end of the night we were dancing on the bar. Well worth it.
Did you boy your ticket there? We were looking some “skip the line” ticket offers on TripAdvisor. Not sure if that actually is worth it
We purchased our tickets at the resorts we stayed at. I dont remember waiting in a line at all. Our server was fantastic and kept us in plenty of drinks all night. Probably too many drinks. I remember several shots of tequila we didn't ask for.
