We purchased a membership just before the renovation and are returning for the first time. What should we expect? When we were purchasing they were in the we'll do anything for you and are concerned now we will be back of the bus. What have others experienced when they go as members?
When you arrive at the resort, they will try to get you to attend another sales presentation to encourage buying up to a higher membership tier. Seriously. The sales pitch doesn't stop after you buy a membership. Having said that, the member perks will be recognized just the same as every other member.
say more about the butler service? Also, can you make reservations at the restaurants before you arrive?
Your butler can arrange all your dinner requests, help with other needs that come up during your stay, late check out, lobster dinner coupon, etc.
Definitely use your Butlers. I know experiences have varied but we have had Memo and Armando the last 4 times with great results. They will take care of most anything, are out and about by the pool for you, and do restaurant reservations no biggie. Great couple of guys, very attentive. We got Fireball in Oct no problem.
