The 99/1 rule applies to this, as it does generally at TTR: 99% of the people at TTR are fun party people, 1% are assholes.
So I talked to Patrick (TTR GM) and he would say that he takes pride in the security team, he employs 60 security guards much more than any other Cancun resort, and he is glad the issue was resolved. The guy claimed he was drunk, which is plausible to some extent, except why would you take a dudes shorts, my wife’s flipflops and a bright orange bag. These were unique items. Also, if it was mistaken identity why did security have to pull it from your room and why was my $ missing, along with meds. I should caveat, this in no way inhibited our good time.
Sure glad you got the stuff back. Sucks on the money and meds. both of them are replaceable tho. But Still sucks. hope you guys had a great time.
ahhh man really your money was gone? Damn! Why the hell wasn't my money gone then. At the end of the day we partied hard and at least we got all of our personal belongings back. Cash is cash. I’ll buy you a Canadian gift next time I see y’all. Would have been nice to have the guy kicked off the resort.
