Incredibly Frustrating Time Trying To Book Through Official Site!

So right now TTR is having a cyber sale.

They advertise this: Temptation Secret Sale | Temptation Cyber Sale

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Prices do not include taxes
• Room categories available for this promotion:
  • Bash Tower Ocean View: $154 USD per person, per night

But I can't find any dates with that price.

When I go to book, the base price for the room per night is showing up as 342.02. (Which is 171.01 per person).

Then with taxes, insurance and everything the total is 2069.10

When I chatted with them, they said the "154" does not include taxes, so I sent them a screenshot showing that the Sub-Total was without taxes, they asked for a minute to verify and then didn't come back to the chat.

A little frustrating!

 

Yep, the deal isn't anything different from what I already get as a member...I figured it would be better but not much incentive to book early and be non-refundable...other than to tell my wife it is a special deal and then we book it!!

 

If you book through Premier without the cyber sale rate you also get a resort credit. Much better deal than what they’re offering.

 

My issue is not how good the deal may or may not be, but that the prices they are offering aren't what they are advertising.

I got a message just now saying that the rates I got in the checkout menu are correct, and they are working to see if they can honor what they put on their own site.

Seems a little shady to me.

 

How do we do that? Sorry - we've only been once.

I always just book on Orbitz and seem to find the prices I want.

 

I booked about 20% cheaper for my dates in January going through Priceline as opposed to the TTR website. The bonus with Priceline is that it’s fully cancelable up to 48 hrs before the trip.

 

Never book the website. 3rd party is almost always MUCH cheaper. MUCH.

 

Ya think? It's like... it's Mexico or something.

 

$280 a night for bash, for both of us. Taxes included. Nobody beats my TA.
