Newbie Review, Just Back From Ttr (with Boobs Cruise)

With all the useful info we got from this site as total TTR newbies, the least I can do is write a review to maybe help others .

We are still in awesome and hot hot hot Mexico at the time I'm writing this review , sitting in a cabana at the Breathless Riviera Cancun, yes life is good ...BUT I seem to be missing something in this cabana now that we did Temptation.

As we where totally unsure Temptation was going to our thing, our plan was one week of Temptation to party like there’s no tomorrow, one week of Breathless to catch up on some sleep…in short…that probably was a good idea as one more week of Temptation would probably have killed us…well that, or turned us into pornstars LMAO.

We are a couple in our late 30s…heck soon to be 40…with no kids and love to travel all over this big blue rock. We are not fully into the LS (yet) but we do enjoy "playing", so luckily Temptation is all about "lets play!".

Lets start on that LS part (right!?), Temptation is imo totally not a LS resort (yes I know that they officially aren't, but everyone asks this question and this opinion might help). There is higher percentage of people there that have a healthy interest in everything that has to do with the LS, but its totally NOT that you are constantly confronted with orgies or people approaching you, there is SOME rubbing your face into it, but that would be at a drinking game in the sexy pool (<- thanks totally bonkers Playmakers lol). I would even dare to say its the opposite...At our week, people where very proper about it, it was all in good spirit and always discussed, real life situation: hey whats up, you guys swingers, no? Ah ok let's get a drink and still be drinking buddy's. Or when answer to the question would be yes, well thats for the sister site I guess lol.

Onwards with this review, we booked a bash tower OV room. Our room was on the 3th floor looking straight onto Bash, left wing of the tower (if youre into balcony shows, giving and receiving -> ideal room! ), distance from the speaker system, no more that 10 metres...and lets say if you are the opposite of us, ie we are party people that close down the dancefloor every night at Bash, our room would be the room from hell itself. As long as there was still music playing or people talking at Bash when it closed...There is NOOOO way in hell you can get some shuteye in that room, as is sounds like you're still at bash in the room (fun fun fun on the first nigt after an 11h flight and 6h jetlag). The room was not really properly cleaned when we arrived, but the room attended fixed it the next morning. I would want to say it you are critical to used materials and good finishing (<- not on the previous paragraph lol) stear clear of Temptation as they did cut corners all over the resort imo...But who gives a F about that. Overall I give the room a good 8/10

Bash party's where fun every night, theme participation is I would say abouts 30 max 40% at best, so do not feel bad if you dont feel comfortable with a theme or you just don't care about it, nobody else cares if you participate or not anyway.
Music at bash felt very European, way more EDM than any other style and the amplifier is set all the way up to 10, having conversation can be a bit hard, but after a few nights of bash party's...well you'll use the word "hard" for somethings else lol. I give bash a solid 9/10

On participation, on to the sexy pool, toplessness at the sexy pool was 90+ percentage. People tend to stay in the pool forever with a massive amount of booze, so really shower when you get out. Its soooo sad that they designed the tower in such a way that the sun over the sexy pool gets blocked pertty fast, starts to disappear around 1ish and totally gone by 4:00. The playmakers do a proper job keeping everyone entertained, some games are borderline crazy and for some you really need to be brave (and bonkers) if youre playing, so guess who reported for duty every day . This was the place we made most of our new friends. Giving the sexy pool a massive 10/10 score.

Guess this brings me to the last point of the hotel...the food and drinks! Well from what you've been reading till now its all "wow thats a positive review," and definitely is, dont get me wrong...But the food is in our opinion totally NOT up to par, with exception of the Italian restaurant and the skybar for lunch. They can or should do better imo, certainly for the price of the hotel. For our tastebuds, the food was overall too plain and tasteless. Also a lot of things were served cold, especially at the buffet. We we also had waiters screwing up orders a lot as well. The worst restaurant for us was the steak place, the Italian was the best one, after trying everything we went back to the Italian place twice as that food was pretty good. So food I'm giving a sad face 4/10 ...drinks on the other hand I'm giving a 10/10 and needs no explanation I think. If your not an alcoholic already, Temptation will make one out of you for sure!

Last one...the Boobs Cruise, that was loads of fun! I would advise everyone to do it whatever your into. Ours was not a wild one apparently, but even still there was some sexual action going on, participation in that is in NO WAY forced. Even the getting naked part, theres a lot of shouting by Sarah on it, but only a handfull of people (girls and boys) did so...We did, but word to the wise a moving catamaran is dangerous especially with all the booze spilling on the deck, I slipped (buttnaked ) and torn off two toenails...so yeah that hurts pretty bad. Luckily (lol) there was soooooo much alcohol in my blood it killed the pain instantly. The lunch stop in the middle is a bit strange as they dock right next to family cat trips ...you really see their mouths fall open in astonishment of what they are seeing, so you need to be good with that. But points for Boobs Cruise 11/10!

Overall great trip, made some awesome new friends and Temptation is a true party place with a unforced sexual theme going on.

Would we go back, hell yeah! Just its too far of a trip for us to do frequently sadly...my last words, if you're thinking of booking and holding back because of the main theme, dont, just book you wont regret it!

Seems like there has been food issues in the last few weeks reports. Hope this gets resolved.
At least you had no mention of getting sick off of it, so I guess this is good news.

The only thing that got sick is my liver .
No we in no circumstance got sick from the food, it just needs way more effort put into, taste, spices, variety, presentation wise.
What I do believe, as I stated some things were served cold that should be warm...that can become a dangerous situation fast, but we knock on wood had non of that.

YEP! That's not the worse part...the dancing at night is just a gong show now, seeing a bunch of vanilla people in action, actually thinking they be doing sexual dance moves...slam that gong! Lol
