There were a few songs repeated throughout the week and if they are songs people don't like, I can see their irritation. But I found it was nothing like some of the previous situations where it was the same setlist every night. On Wednesday night the Dj played EDM for the first part of the night which I really enjoyed but realized it wouldn't appeal to everyone. They played a lot of dance hits from the 70's to present, some classic rock, a bit of country. I really found it better than when I went in February.
I'm with you, that song is stupid. However I also must admit that if I were drunk enough, I'd probably dance to it (that's embarrassing). But yeah, that has to be in the top 10 list of worst dance songs.
Wait were you just there recently? I read your review from earlier this year. You Texans have such quick cheap access to TTR. In Canada we have to dip into our savings for a flight. Lol. I can't remember exactly but i think you are interested in some awesome hillbilly crossed with punk stuff (forgive me i am drunk). That sounds awesome. Personally I like a lot of different genres. I love music so much.
@Jen&Kyle, I too was at Halloween and thought the music was spot on all weekend. Goes to show that it really depends on your tastes. In particular on Glow night I noticed the DJ incorporating a lot of fresh EDMish remixes of old songs. It seemed like the crowd enjoyed it...I know our group did.
When you've seen the right group of ladies do the Wobble the right way you will look forward to the DJ queuing up that song. One time per trip is perfect and that's what we got over Halloween.
