Yeah that is what is so interesting in that we had not heard of nor ever met anyone who identified as a “member” of said group. We are not questioning you or the authenticity of the group at all. We learn something new every day!
TTR is also not the only place they travel. Just happens to be one of the places they go. They also do their own themes and which have usually not lined up with ours on CCC or TTRs
The TNT (Tits N Tats) group also comes in every (?) year just past the midpoint of April for about 5 days. I saw them before the reno, in 2013, and they were there in April 2018 (I was not at TTR 2014-2017). We arrived on the 14th, and I believe they arrived about 3-4 days later. They also do their own themes. I noticed in April 2018 that it was sometimes hard to spot the people following the CCC themes when another group was there with their own themes, especially now that there are more people at the resort diluting the CCC numbers to begin with. You can have CCC themes, resort themes, special group themes, and of course those people who didn't get the memo and aren't following any theme except perhaps tacky tourist.
How do you find out about all these groups? We are looking to book around spring or even early summer and wanted to avoid landing on a take over or group event that is more or less exclusive to the group.
We’ve been there when takeover groups were there and when they weren’t there. We’ve had a great time every time at TTR. But then again, I’m the type of person that can have fun at a funeral. We’ll be at TTR April 18-25. Come join us!
I feel the same way, we have the most fun just the two of us. I’m mostly worried about being denied access places or feeling outta place with some special interest group.
I believe it is the same group, but have changed their name. There are some here on the forum so maybe one will read the thread.
