Great review! We have been many times and don't intend to ever go back during the summer. The pool is too hot and we have too many great options here that are only available to us during the summer. We are working on getting a group together for this April/May. There are a bunch of us that usually go during that time, however we are usually scattered over the two month period and end up missing each other.
That's a good trip report, right there! That's pretty much our experience with the August v. February comparison, too. The "party" of the Week 8 Crew completely crushes the vibe of the August crowd, mostly because of the numbers, but also because of the attitude of the people there at that time I think.

We are going to keep an eye on May for next year. I think we would like the cooler pool temps and there seems to be really established groups that time of year. We are still bumming that we missed the Chinos fundraiser you put on this year. Hopefully we can make it out that way next year.
Yes I agree. February has such a range of established groups that it is impossible not to jump into party mode the minute you arrive. I think February spoiled us a little and then we expected the same in August. Good trip just a little tamer.
I do realize that a true "TTR Threesome" is going to be hard to pull off but a guy can wish right?? lol
