I stop keto when going on vacation...especially if you do the Boobs Cruise as you can't maintain with the booze and food on the island. I bounced back pretty quick last year after getting home.
I'm not on a keto diet.. But I have to watch my sugar as my body is insulin resistance and under med to control it. Those med make me really sick if I eat fat, greasy food (French fries, Pizza and BACON, etc) But I'm never hungry and always find something to eat. While at TTR, I'm staying out from all the sugary drink (Might have 1 or 2 per day in a smaller cup and that's it (Slushy drink are the worst). Otherwise Vodka, Mio (or any water drops) and water is my go to drink. However at TTR, you might want to eat more as you will drink A LOT of alcohol and get drunk faster. You can just bounce back on keto when you get back home.
No need for powders of you just eat high fat diet. Target 70% fat and no bread, rice or sugar which is hard to do.
As others said. Keto at TTR is super easy. We did it over New Years. vodka, water, lime and use mio, or propel powder. We did fireball also, which apparently has sugar. All the meat and eggs for breakfast and at night every restaurant has seafood or meat options with vegetables.
The food part is easy at TTR if you want. Lots of meats and the carbs are not that great lol. We don’t do keto, just eat a balance and not too much. But those who do the keto, I can see it being easy at TTR. The reason we don’t drink sugary drinks is for hangover purposes, not keto lol. But it is easy for those on that diet to do at TTR. Been to other resorts and not so easy lol.
I eliminated liquid carbs (beer), 75% of food carbs, dairy and processed sugar 4 weeks ago. I’ve lost 16 pounds. My only “sweets” now are berries and peaches. It is getting easier plus I feel great
