i have seen people talk about things you have to do before the trip to Mexico. I have seen the airport transfer, the temporary visa??? Etc. who can help us out with things we cannot forget to do?
Before getting into other matters what’s “the temporary visa”? Are you referring to a credit card with a lower value or is it a reference to some kind of travel authorization document? Won’t comment on the credit card concept but I believe that a passport is the basics of what’s needed for international travel by air.
I had read before that travel to Mexico requires some sort of temporary immigration type paper. Not sure if that is accurate or not
Just need your passport. I would call your credit card company and let them know you'll be in mexico and on what dates so your card doesn't get declined while there.
Bring a lof of smal bills for tipping. I keep hearing stories about rogue charges on guests credit cards, how reliable that is I'm not sure but why risk it when they are happy to accept american currency. You shouldn't need to present one when you get there unless a 3rd party booking does not exchange it with the resort. We did not have to present a card when we got there, even when we left, there was a $15 charge for room service and they just charged it to the card they already had on file from the original booking. Basically... avoid using cards at all costs. Bring small bills for tipping and keep it all in your safe.
Ah ok - got it. Yes when you arrive there is paperwork to fill out for each of you for going through Mexican customs into the country and they will keep half and require you to give the 2nd half back when leaving. Don’t lose the important piece of paper and do plan to give it back at the airport when returning home. We each just keep it in our passport.
Get your body and liver in prime condition to cope with a full on party...….. oh, sun glasses might help when you might be feeling "delicate", but not with the liver !!. Don't forget to book the Boobs Cruise...enjoy...
