I’m sure this has been done to death BUT... Where’s everyone’s favourite place to eat in the evenings? We absolutely adore the Italian. Nothing better than dressing up, having a few nice drinks at the quiet pool bar, then having a dirty great fillet steak with some wine at the Italian
We love the variety the resort offers for evening dining. Sutra is our favourite. We always eat there a few times and the Hibachi is a must do!!--Chris
Amores is fantastic! Place seems almost empty most of the time, but it's not your average chips and salsa kind of Mexican fare. Roaming Mariachi is a great touch
Pre-reno, we enjoyed the Italian the best, but post-reno we like the Asian (Sutra) the best, though we skip the Hibachi as we've got almost as many of those here in the Houston Metro as we do Mexican restaurants, both traditional and Tex-Mex. Stacia absolutely LOVES the sushi combos she can custom order at Sutra, once you get to know your server (get the same one by asking by name each time you go), and they'll suggest great combos and get the chef to do your order up special. Sort of like wht the DJ OUGHT to be doing, eh? Slam! Take that, dumb DJ... She was a Huge waste of time for what amounted to a little bit of food even over all the dang courses. Just not our style of dinner. We won't do that again, which I'm sure management is OK with as that place has got to cost them a lot against their bottom line. We enjoy Sea Flirt for both breakfast and dinner, but we just don't seem to get there to eat very often for some reason.
We had dinner at all of them, and Stacia and John above were spot on with SHE. Small portions and the pole dancers routine gets old after a while. The Italian place is really good, but our favorite turned out to be Sea Flirt. The coconut shrimp I had was outstanding, and I wish it could have been all you can eat! Given Sea Flirt's location the only thing I noticed was that service sometimes got a bit slow because certain male employees would be looking thru the windows at the sexy pool before the pool closed and darkness settled in! But, I suppose if I worked there to I'd be doing the same thing!
Flame is our favorite. Maybe being from west Texas, just cut out all the bs and bring me the main course!!! We just tell the waiter to bring fried calamari and steak lol. Zero chance we go to She. Don’t understand the draw to eating a bowl of fried rice at the hibachi lol. Damn, y’all are easy!! The sushi is very good there btw in the sit down portion. Italian was way better before the Reno. The sea food one is good. Did I mention steaks at flame?
