Im looking at the extras that come with staying in the tower. One is the pool/beach concierge, what does this include? Also, what is in the swag bag? Has anyone stayed in a Seduction Beachfront Suite and what did you think? Thanks!
The tower rooms are definitely bigger and with more cabinetry then most garden view rooms. Answer is not all inclusive answer but what I recall, others may recall/know more or dispute... The pool/beach concierge is about saving chairs, towels, etc. The Tower now also has their own area of chairs near the pool ...do not recall beach. There are already waiters/waitresses on the beach and around the pool. The swag bag is a variety of snacks and maybe a hat or t-shirt or something. Staying in the tower gives access the the rooftop if not already a Premier member (black band) so you do not have to pay $20-25 each every day. Well worth it to for the views, great lunch, and a place to chill.
The Tower is worth staying in. Beachfront Seduction is a roll of the dice. Only 12 rooms in BFS room class. 4 don’t have balconies. 6 are as far from the action as you can get. Tower is central and the focus of the hotel for providing perks. On your next trip maybe try the BFS room for a couple nights. On your first trip see if you can meet someone with that room class to get the tour. Red hand drawn circles are the location of the Beachfront Seduction. 7320 and 7321 are nearest the sexy pool. #DontStopTheParty
Not sure about the concierge with SBS, but sure you will have one when staying in the tower. The SBS rooms are old and like BnK said half of them do not have balconies. We stayed in a SBS once and was not impressed. Very private and an awesome view, way better than Garden View, close to the Italian, Sea Flirt, and She, but not much else I can say positive about them.
Thanks for all the replies, very helpful! Our hesitation to staying in the bash tower was the loud music at night that I've read in reviews. I've read that if you stay on higher floor its not so bad. Do you guys find this true?
Before the reno we stayed in what was then called the Temptation Suite once (got upgraded to it). It was all right, two-room real suite, ours had a HUGE patio/balcony which hung about 3 feet above beach level, the view out there was great, but they had very little furniture out there. So, you could host a hundred people if you wanted, but you couldn't have any bar service anywhere close by, nowhere for people to sit and hang out, and there's no hot tub/jacuzzi out there. The jacuzzi is actually inside (or at least it was back then), forming the base of the big rainfall shower, glassed-in, with a window to the beach. That was interesting for the exhibitionistics types, gotta luv 'em… The main thing that Stacia absolutely LOVEED about that suite was that the bathroom was a completely separate room, with tons of countertop space. Truly, the main issue of negativity about the room was the location, way, way down at the very end of the property. The reports about the Bash Tower rooms on upper levels not having to hear as much of the Bash party music is reportedly true.
Hey @KellyM311 The sounds of Bash disco won’t bother you as you’ll likely be in the mix most of the time vs heading off to sleep early. Big difference between going to bed early and going to sleep early. Just sayin !! Now heading off to bed early is not a big deal since some background music while you are still up but of course while trying to get some sleep is another story. You can go to sleep late & sleep in like much of the group does. Music stops at 2 am, I believe We do have ear plugs along for any possible noise concerns and really just don’t end up using them. But they are there if we needed to go to sleep early (for some bizarre reason) while the Bash disco was still going strong.
We just got back from our first stay. Not being too familiar with the hotel, we requested an upper level room overlooking the quiet pool. We were given room 1002 and were quite happy with it. It as on the third floor right at the beginning of the Relax side, only 3 rooms were up there. Our entrance door overlooked the Sexy Pool, our balcony overlooked the Quiet Pool. It was very central and at night, if you went back to the room before the party ended, the noise was not too bad at all, nothing worse than leaving a tv on at night. We didn’t see many other rooms, but we were quite pleased with what we had. It was only a couple minutes to any restaurant, sexy pool, quiet pool, or bash party. We’d definitely recommend it.
We’ve stayed in 1001 and 1002 in the last couple years and really enjoyed the rooms. Watching the entertainment from the entrance while getting ready for Bash. Coffee on the balcony in the am is awesome as well. You scored a great room on your first trip. Well done !!
