Just came back from TTR and thinking about heading this August to Desire or splitting the trip up. Advice please !? We loved TTR but it seemed to get a little too young by the time we left. On top of a group of snobs changing the vibe we first arrived with. Keith n I are 45/46 but can party with the best of them. Hahaha! Well, sometimes... we want to party but hang with a lifestyle group that’s fun with no drama nor snobby attitudes... I was told Pearl is a little older of a group about 55 plus... Thx
Go to RM - I would say avg age (when we have been there) was mid 40's. It's awesome and we love TTR too, so we split our trips between the 2.
We are in our mid-late 50’s and we say the same thing you do about yourselves! Gotta show the young’ens how it’s done. You writing about the young crowd and feeling too old just makes us feel ancient and makes us cry We ain’t dead yet and will continue to have a good time. Life is just too short to roll up the sidewalks at 8pm!!!
We split our trips often between Temptation and Desire and by chance started at Pearl rather than RM. When Temptation was closed for construction we split between RM and Pearl. Never did find the great dancing and serious social fun in the daytime pool like at Temptation but was good times either way. Pearl has the least number of rooms so smallest group and the Dance floor is inside and more remote than RM’s. The lobby bar at RM is great for socializing and some dancing before the inside disco even opens. There are times we don’t even go into the disco after the lobby bar entertainment. The guest group changes at RM and Pearl each time we’ve been but predominantly there has felt like an older crowd at Pearl. Hoping that changes as Pearl has gotten much busier over the years since we started going. Can’t go wrong at either in our opinion especially if you are starting at Temptation.
