I'm guessing the change might have to do with things like members selling Referrals for $250 in cash and the people not having to sit through the presentation... referral benefits for two for a full week costs Premiere more than $250 but is OK if the people attend the presentation and they get the benefit from the advertising. You game the system and they change the system.. Jamie
The "system" is rigged in their favor from the get go. Timeshares are never designed for the consumer to come out ahead.
We're here now and they told us that Referrals won't get the Lobster dinner or the Butler but everything else is the same for our Referrals, black wristband and all. But new contracts won't be given the option of having Referrals anymore but they will be given better prices depending on what's going on with the economy. If we were to upgrade again they "might" be able to still include referrals since we would be upgrading our old contract. But as far as the benefits go I can see why they want to leave the members only to receive a few more perks than their referrals get or why else would they want to buy in?
