@Donna & John - Yes, drinks at the sky bar are a must. @Jen&Kyle - What are the best uses for the butler e.g. make dinner reservations, claim pool chairs? Looking forward to reading your trip report.
We got back late last night. Reality sucks. Lots of work to catch up on so may take until the weekend. But catching up on ccc on the train ride into work now As for the butler you got it right as our favorite two reasons... we don’t like to get up and reserve chairs. We get up when we want and get whatever is left. Being close doesn’t matter to us. But to people new to the resort I would recommend it so you can see the games, meet more people, etc. so yes have the butler reserve chairs in your favorite spot. Secondly is the butler will make dinner reservations for you at ANY of the restaurants, including the ones that ‘don’t take reservations’, at least they did for us when in the master and penthouse. At first they may try to tell you they can only get an early time or later time. Tell them you would like the time you want nicely. They can make it happen. Always good to tip them when saying this too if a time at a specific restaurant matters to you. As for other ways to use them...some things we have done... Had them have our favorite appetizers from the restaurants delivered to our room at a certain time each evening so we could munch after snap or while getting ready for dinner Had them make Jell-O shots for a party we were having Had them organize a big party (costs extra) in our suite with full bar and bartenders and food Had them get rolling papers Had them get red solo cups for beer pong And so on. Pretty much whatever you can think of. The more you tip them the more they ask for more to help with of course
That must be the longest train ride into work - coming off of a TTR binge is a struggle! Appreciate the butler tips, as I wouldn't have considered some them to be options. How much do you recommend giving the butler and other wait staff to help grease the skids?
Greetings fellow party spirits and party folks. We just booked our two Boobs Cruises. The 26th and 29th. The 22nd will be a walk up depending on how our Sunday travel day goes. Looking forward to the fun and sun. Damn wet up here in Oregon. Need to dry out, sick of the cold and rain. Can't wait to get in the pool and the swim up bar. I don't want to dry out to fast.
We've managed to fit in 5 day last minute trip. It was hard fiding time for a spring trip this year, but will be down April 25th to May 1st. Can't wait to see all of you soon! John & Stephanie
