Has anyone ever tried to negotiate getting a black wristband by doing the sales pitch? We are not going on referral but know that as soon as we check in they will try to sell us the resort. Has anyone ever been like “I’ll do the presentation in exchange for some black wristbands.” Then do the presentation and say no thanks and bounce to get some premium liquor...lol. Last time they gave us $100USD back just for hearing them out.
How bout you just go in and do your research and actually look at a buy in for an investment if u intend on going 2x a year for the next 3 years. Then the next 19 visits are paid for...
Or just pay a member while there the cost of a new black band. They can give you theres then go get a new one saying they lost it for $50ish I believe
We were able to get $200 last Feb for doing the sales pitch, even after we told them we weren't interested in becoming members, and we had done the tour twice before. They must have needed to fill a quota or something. $200 more for tips!!
If you intend on going 2-3 times a year - it actually is an investment because it's saving you money - wherein your initial investment (upfront payment) is recouped in 3-4 years. Thereafter it's gravy.
