I don't know? Maybe because it’s advertised that way in their website, if you contact them they will say that it is, and most importantly 95% of the day time activities revolve around/in the pool. For people just hang around the outside and drink and conversate it may not seem like a big deal. To many others it is.
I don’t like cold water but after a few drinks, its all the same! If you get cold, you aint doing it right.
The ‘group’ has booked the sky lounge for this Saturday night and is throwing a pool party up there that ALL resort guests are invited to. Pool, jacuzzis will be open. And supposedly they are even adding bars at the ends to help spread out the crowd on the roof. Word is resort is using the opportunity to see whether the sky bar can handle a full resort. Adding the bars should help. Apparently concerned about restroom capacity too and will be trying some new configs. We will see how it plays out
4:56 am post fri party update. Now I hear possibly all won’t be invited. As the world turns. I have no idea. Will see how this all plays out tomorrow. I am hearing the latest twist may have something to do with another group that arrived and also large groups of single guys that also arrived Friday. Should be easier but it isn’t
I'll be interested in hearing about the results of that. The Rooftop area is an under-utilized resource IMO.
