OK so looks like things have settled down a little. I am going to continue with my regularly scheduled optimism and jokes. I bet there was a good song playing in my room when this ass was doing whatever the hell it is doing in this picture And PS @Jessica This thread, or anything else you might have expressed on the forum, won't impact your good time (or really even matter at all to people) once you are greeted by Carlie and walk through the entrance doors. The internet is a way different place than real life, and Temptation is a way different place than them both!
We’re probably part of the problem... We’re not club people at home, wife just likes to dance. As long as it hasn’t a beat she can dance to she’s happy, and that means I’m happy. That’s said by the end of the week we both mentioned that they play a lot of the same songs each night. Before we went I had read the forums about music, and all the complaints about Pitbull. When we arrived I turned it into a drinking game. Every time a Pitbull song came on I’d down my drink. One afternoon Pitbull comes on I down my drink, head to the bar, on my way back the exact same song plays again... The only real issue we had with the music in the end was our final night. DJ was just all over the place, nobody was dancing. Every time someone would get up he’d drastically change the music... like from dance to rock. It was pretty odd.
I am wagering on Marvin Gaye... I've been really tryin', baby Tryin' to hold back this feeling for so long And if you feel like I feel, baby Then, c'mon, oh, c'mon Let's get it on Ah, baby, let's get it on Let's love, baby Let's get it on, sugar Let's get it on
And on this point it is so true. Online personalities including sense of humor and communication style can easily be misconstrued and it can seem like you just wouldn’t get along. @bigsexy&misssexy2012 and I just didn’t always see eye to eye online and then we met at TTR and were great party buds. TTR has a way of bringing people together. @Partyometer ugh those strong opinions didn’t think we would get along years ago but then when I saw her naked doing bad things on the Boobs Cruise well how could I not invite her to the room ... ha I kid I kid ... but perfect time to link to an old pic in the albums for shits and giggles sakes (ps can you tell I am getting excited for next week) P1010100 by Jen&Kyle posted Oct 16, 2013 at 10:26 PM Point is I really think you will end up loving TTR despite all the stress this forum brought you.
Sorry, I couldn't read the post. Im sure it was very thoughtful, but i couldn't stop staring at the picture. LOL Cant wait to meet you all!!!!
Furthering the conversation.... Always happy to experience diverse music ... continuous learning, openness and discovery are good things. We all appreciate that one size does not fit all, especially with a diverse and international audience. Universally, it seems to be, an unending repetition (when it happens) of the same songs and/or artists that we get an allergic reaction to. It's too easy to be judgmental about music preferences and genres, and many of us don't like or at least, resist change and have tendencies to revert to old or nostalgic musical comfort zones, in any case. Would these potential solutions resolve musical taste discord? 1) Old/New friends + more alcohol + toptional bikini-clad/eveningwear distractions 2) Engaging one's own device/playlist + headphones 3) Live and let live, not stressing over the music, and just enjoying who your with and time away from back-home realities 4) All of the above Although ... I'm job-retired, but still a musician [guitar, vocals, keys and drums] and when we play, the mandate is always (a) to get the ladies dancing and (b) keep the drunks happy so there's no violence. There's never any pressure to rotate the bar/sales ... that seems to look after itself juuust fine.
Oh Kyle. You love my opinions. .... And my boobs. Yes, maybe the boobs have something to do with it. That photo captures a very memorable trip!!
