Have you ever been in a group of people, say like a family, when one person over reacts to something and someone reaches out and pokes the bear? The first person over reacts to that and the next person pokes? The whole time everyone, except the over reactor, has a smile on their face because its done out of fun and love and there is nothing vicious in it at all. If you don't believe that, read it all again... there are no vicious comments, maybe some saying she might not like it, and one that some may consider boarder line but I laughed out loud about what Paul was paying. But is was all done in jest and some might say love. ah the Music at Temptation I have to laugh or else I would cry, it has been the bane of my holidays since we first went there and even stopped us going back for the last two years that and doing and playing house music events in Europe instead. Before i say anything else being a DJ for such a diverse group of people must be the job from hell and not one i would do. I know I am one! It is the reparation that makes me so annoyed the same songs at the same time day after day. I did talk to the DJs about it one time and they are hamstrung by the management they have to play certain stuff and dont get any freedom. I am a UK house DJ play at events across UK and Europe and played round the world as well the music I play most of it you would not her in the charts its underground house and there is a massive scene across the world for it. Its also the EDM they do play is at least 3 -4 months behind the UK and so its been played to death and fed up of it before get there lol I have actually managed through a lot of pestering begging and being understand to the DJs there to play 4 times at TTR 2 daytime pool parties, 1 foam party and an all nighter at Patyo's. I played uplifting Soulful House music (easy to listen to sunshine happy music great to dance too!) for the daytime and deep full on house for night sets. So every time I played I played my music the DJ's loved it and always shared a load of my tunes with them while i am there. But the crowd after 15-20 mins i had people coming and asking for the same old tunes they had heard day after day, they would rather listen to them than something new so see why the DJ's cant win!! We finally coming back in May 11th to 25th and trying to get them to let me play a set again fingers crossed so if you there then you may hear something new. But like i said don't think its the DJs fault they have a sort of approved list to play from and have to stick to it just wish the list was longer and had at least 7 days worth so hear new stuff each day.
