Just an FYI for people booking via Cancelon... A friend of ours booked back on 3/1 for mid-May and was told today by Cancelon that they are unable to honor the reservation. I've emailed them myself to see what they say...
Well that's a little concerning, as we booked through Cancelon for our November trip. Just curious, did your friend ever receive a confirmation number from Cancelon? When we booked we got an order# and an email stating that we would receive a confirmation# once the reservation was confirmed with the hotel. A couple days later we received an email with a confirmation#. I'm going to email Temptation directly for my own piece of mind.
I contacted the resort a few times (both email and phone) and they still don't have a reservation for us in their system. I would just make sure TTR has it (and get a confirmation email from them). We got a rate of around $168/night so I'm thinking it was just too good to be true lol.
Got a reply from the hotel, and everything is confirmed. Now back to shopping for slutty clothing and body paints.
Same here. I called the hotel directly a couple days later to confirm and they had my reservation. So I’m guessing they just never got that confirmation email.
Better to call IMO. They take FOREVER to answer an email, and in our case this time, never answered it.
You guys seriously booked with a company calling itself Cancelon? I mean, it's right there in the name, CANCEL on.... Sorry. Noted that and it's like... low hanging fruit.
