Has anyone attempted to post a short video on here? I want to post a walk through of the liquor section at Walmart when we stop. A lot of people talk about traveling with a bottle, I'd rather not risk it breaking.
I don't think the site supports video directly. Probably would have to post it somewhere else, then link to it. When I bring stuff I normally just buy it in my departing airport at the duty free. Then they send it to your gate and you pick it up as you board. It's normally in like a box, and you can carry up to 3L per person into the country (no problem and no cost). This prevents be worrying about it breaking in my checked bag.
There are many options on Amazon... Amazon.com: wine bottle protector for luggage We bring 2-3 bottles each trip. So far we are batting like 49 for 50 but that one time the red wine broke and punctured the protector sure as hell sucked so there is some risk.
3 week mark for us. Getting real. Work is going to suck these next 3 weeks. Need to get one of those countdown pics going.
I just dont think anyone is going to have what I'm looking for... unless someone can confirm if they've seen this in the Atlanta or Cleveland airport.
You sure Wal-Mart is going to have that? Last time we were there and browsed the tequila area it was pretty dismal. We just figured we would hit an actual liquor store on the way for the tequila. We are going to bring along the other stuff with us and just bubble wrap the shit out of it in its own box. We get free checked bags so it’s not a big deal with that part. I think when bringing it from home it’s maybe something that others haven’t tried because it’s not as popular in their area, which is fun.
