So what kind of music are they normally playing at the theme nights? Our first trip is in August and curious what kind of tunes to expect.
Music or the DJ shall I say is a ongoing discussion here, Think of it as basic club music some you will like some it you won’t and some will be repetitive. The DJ has a tough job. He or she is trying to entertain people from all over the world as well as different age groups and hell sometimes different generations. To make it worse new people are arriving every day and stay different lengths of time. Some people stay as long as 2 weeks, I think they must bring a spare liver. Everything at Temptations is what you make of it so love the music or hate the music just roll with it an have a good time. That being said I hope you like Pit Bull
Pitbull... Robin Thicke...Pitbull... Despecito... Pitbull... Black Eyed Peas (I gotta feeling)... Pitbull... Party Rock LMFAO... Pitbull... Uptown Funk... Pitbull... Happy... Pitbull Rinse and repeat
This thread is hilarious already. It’s gonna be Pitbull like I’ve never heard before. Maybe for a theme night we should have done Pitbull look-a-like
If I only new. I would have done that for our week instead of boogie nights, it would be Pitbull night.
The music has improved. 5 years ago it was on a clear loop of techno music with very little lyrics absolutely terrible music. We were there 2 weeks ago and it’s vastly improved but still needs some work. There’s still some techno but not as much, a lot of rap and club type music. Some rock that is mixed. Think we heard two country songs the whole week. Hard to make everybody happy as there is a diverse crowd. But given the majority is still Americans and Canadians I don’t know how diverse they have to be. Overall music was at least ok but don’t plan on falling in love with it
Ok so this is a very sensitive subject so I will just say what I always say and people can fire away and this time I will just leave it be. They do not play techno at TTR. They don’t play the club music you would hear in a club in any major city. The confusion comes in as different people have different understandings of what techno or club music is. I would simply be ecstatic if they added variety so very hopeful what you experienced soldier recently means they made some changes. But what we experienced in August, October and April was almost exactly the same songs. Our main reason for going for the early April takeover, errr group, is because they are bringing their own EDM style dj’s. So we won’t be able to see how much it has changed since that week will be unique. We don’t like country but we would be totally happy if they played more country simply for variety sakes.
