yes, there definitely is. And I have found the us duty free spots to be cheaper than the upon arrival mexico duty free spots
Thanks for the info. We were on a referral last time, and figured Fireball wouldn't be a problem. Well, they were out of Fireball for most of the trip, and other things like Rumchata. The more you go, the more you start to think of ways to make it better.
I've got a guy in cancun that is supplying me with my alcohol at normal prices so I don't have to pack anything and I know I'll have exactly what I want waiting on me. If anyone wants his contact just pm me. I'm just passing him a delivery fee on top of my order cost.
When they ran out of my favorite drink , a special Lady went across the street and got me a bottle . It,s nice when they take care of us .
When we left Canada, we had the same prices than US but in C$ ... saved a bunch(even compared to LCBO) . Only problem is, it's 3L/pers. going in Mexico but not coming back in Canada! Good thing we found friends to help us lower our stock to come back home legally!
Ya. Duty free will let u carry on once u pass through security Lol. My gf slammed the bag down when we landed in cancun (yes she insisted on carrying as long as I got luggage). And well. There went two bottles of goose. Haha. Needless to say. She was on drink service first couple of days haha
Love the small batch bourbon as well John. I recall there may have been Jim Beam, which I'm not a fan of, but fairly certain they did not have Jack or Makers, even at the premier bar, is that correct? Cheers!
So Sean and I are at odds whether to stay on referral in a Garden room this July as we did last April, or to book the Tower non-referral. The sticking point is what kind of vodka is available if you are NOT on referral, as that is Sean's drink of choice. Can anyone help? I want to stay in the Tower, but hubby is being an elitist on the booze issue.
