I haven't heard of it since the remodel. I can't think of a good reason to go.

I believe you need to take a cab ride there. At least, that's what I did when I felt like going there. The clubs were mediocre at the best in my opinion. Checkout the burrito spot down the street from clubs for post clubbing bite.

    Quick clarification.....

You're referring to the clubs in the Hotel Zone which is different from the clubs in downtown Cancun. Very different.

Second, you can also take the local bus there and back for a whole lot less than a cab. Make the trip in the daytime to check it out so it's not so new at night time.

Surffin' Burrito is a definite place to hit if you make it to the area anytime of day.

They don't do the trips to the clubs anymore. Questionable ownership and requirements kind of made it hard before the refurb and with the new Bash, the practice was dropped.

There are still some good clubs to see, Coco Bongos for one, but they are always better if you can go with a crowd or someone that knows the lay of the land so to speak.

If you can find a group, but make friends on the staff you might check with them to see if they might be willing to accompany you (offering to pay their admission and covering expenses would be a good thing...) :)
