When everyone gets back, make sure you either do a Trip Report so you can let everyone know how you felt about the Lush tower room, or just dig this thread out again and add to it. I'm curious, as we've never stayed, post-reno, in anything but the older (but renovated) Plush jacuzzi rooms over by the Quiet Pool as that's our standard member room category and we dig it OK, but maybe we're missing out.
Our first trip we stayed in a Lush room and it was nice. The hot tub was nice as it was cold out at the end of the day so a few of us went to our room to enjoy the warmer water. We definitely got more than 2 in it but it is not designed for that. We made the best of it for sure. We stayed in a bash room in June and we are staying in one in a couple weeks when we head back. Not much of a difference between the 2 rooms besides the hot tub. We were also given a butler when we stayed in the Lush room but didn’t use him too much as it was our first trip and we were still trying to figure things out. It sure if they still give you a butler or not with the Lush rooms, but definitely can be a perk if you can get your use out of them. All in all, we are fine with the Bash rooms as we have more fun in the main hot tub, by the end of the day we are ready to move the fun out of the water.
Problem with fitting more than 2 has as much to do with the Jacuzzi's depth (or lack thereof) as it does its diameter.
From some of the pictures on Expedia, it doesn't look like there is a good view to Bash at the Center of the Horseshoe shape. Maybe it was just the pic I saw. Also, is the tub the same size as the Plush Jacuzzi tubs? If so, that works for the 2 of us, at least. So excited to see for ourselves in November!
It is set back a little so it isn’t easy to see bash. And the view isn’t as good as the ends of the horseshoe shaped tower where the master and penthouse are located. But it is still a good view and obviously better the higher you get. Floor two and you have to look over the roof of the lobby. Jacuzzi is the same size as plush. We are in a lush in early April and will take some pics. Seem less pics of the lush than any other room type but it is basically the same as bash except slightly larger with a 2 person jacuzzi tub on the balcony
Yeah, the 2nd floor seems like it would be one of the worst views in the tower. I would have expected something labeled as “oceanfront” to not be one of the furthest rooms from the ocean.
