Lot's Of Showers Expected Next Week.

Not to put a damper on festivities but...
I decided to check out the weather forecast for Cancun for next week and as of now, Sunday -Thursday there's a 40% POP and a 60%POP on Friday.
Does anyone know the general weather patterns there? I know in Jamaica it's pretty typical to have a short afternoon shower but not rain all day. Is this similar in Cancun?

 

No big deal, usually it rains later in the day. Even if its a down pour it aint going to stop the shit show.
Besides we can do room crawls, room parties, bash take over, spa take over.

Hmm I like that way better! Can't take a forecast too seriously. Just really hoping for *some* sunshine! Glad we booked a jacuzzi room... I do like to watch a storm from a steamy jacuzzi!

 

Yup its the people that make it fun, fuck the weather! Unless there is big lighting we can hit the pool, perhaps it will "FEEL" warm at that point hahaha.

Honestly Rain in Mexico usually means a 5 - 5:10 torrential downpour then its gone.

 

theweathernetwork.com shows less than 1mm of rain, Monday and Tuesday. 2-4mm on wed 5 on Thursday and 5-10 on Friday.
Grain of salt.

The Cancun weather reports always show rain every day pretty much all year. Don't take them too serious.

In like 8 (7+ day) trips we have really only had rain problems like 6-8 days, and that was more in Aug/Sept. If there was a serious storm already in the works, than maybe more to worry about, but I do not believe that is the case currently.

 

After our first 2 years going to mexico and the forecast being SOOO WRONG, we stopped checking and didnt worry about anything weather related.. lol
