We don't stop drinking until we get home. Then the hangover kicks in and we hate our lives for a few days.
Caesor does work well but they dont always have clamato juice its a canadian drink but if they dont have clamato made with tomato juice will work just wont taste as good but for those south of the canada border you wont know the difference anyway,,, (.Y.)
We used to use "Chaser," butr we can't find it any more. Too bad, because it just plain-old Worked! For TTR anti-hangover/prevention, literally the best way we've worked out is the alternating water method. Very simple, and easy to follow, if you get in the habit. Here's the method: 1. Order your first drink. 2. As you close in on finishing that drink, head to the bar and order both a water and your next drink. 3. Drink the water, then drink the drink. 4. Repeat Steps 2 & 3 until it's time to go eat, go down to the beach, go take a nap, go jump on someone, whatever. It's really easy to follow the above, and it Does work to block the hangaround… but it's easy to not do it and tell yourself you'll "catch up" on the water later. That's the Devil, and you should ignore him.
Agreed!! We feel like we always need some kind of drink in our hand whether it’s booze or water. We do the same thing but more along the lines of 2 booze to 1 water. We also try not to mix alcohols during the day or have the drinks with tons of sugar. If someone ever finds the perfect answer however, we are all ears.
Somebody on here mentioned Emergen-C with electrolytes...(See pic). Never heard of it, but after doing some research on Amazon, it does appear to be good for hangovers. We usually do 3 motrins before going to bed and that helps...I will be bringing a bunch of these packs and combine it before we crack out with motrin in the hopes that we will wake up refreshed and ready to go for another day...P.S. - they come in different flavors, so if orange isn't your thing just look around online for others.
We started with pedialyte packets than I found out about the electrolytes in the emergenC and have stuck with those since. They taste better than pedialyte and they boost the immune system, why not?
Easiest formula we have found 1. Stay hydrated. Water with all meals. Water every so often between drinks. 2. Avoid sugary drinks as much as possible 3. Advil right before bed 4. Caffeine first thing in the morning 5. Bloody mary or 2 by 10 am.
Hydrate heavily through the day. BCAA 2-3x during the day** makes you hold water stick to 1 type of alcohol. or just smoke instead drinking
