I’m sure this has been asked/answered before, but I got impatient after the 3rd page of search results... so I apologize for the repeat questions...

We are starting our trip at TTR and then ending with 2 nights at Desire RM.

Although the vacation package we purchased says we get a free transfer from airport to Temptations, and supposedly another free one with desire, I’ve read that we may not want to use those?

We used USA Transfers many years ago on our first trip to TTR (I don’t remember having any problems), but will they do drop off at one hotel and pick up at another for the ride back to the airport?

And what about getting from TTR to Desire? What’s the best way to do all this?

Last question... it seems that some folks are able to stop at Walmart or a liquor store on the way to TTR with USA Transfers, but others are not.... is it an add on service, or what determines if they will stop or not?

    Thank you, wonderful, sexy people!

Yes USA Transfers will transport you between hotels as well. For Walmart it is an add on your booking when you book. They will stop at store on route no problem without prior notice.

Easiest thing to do is to send me an email steve@cancuncare.com with all your dates, times, flight info, no of people etc and I'll set it up for you.

    It's because there's a difference :)

The driver will stop at a liquor (convenience) store for no extra charge if it's just a case of you jumping out buying a bottle, and jumping back in 2 mins later.

If you want to stop at Walmart, then it's likely you are doing a larger shop which takes more time, browsing around and standing in line at the checkout. They allow 30 mins for this, and therefore there is an extra charge because it has to be scheduled in and with that 30 mins the driver could have already dropped you off at the hotel and be returning to the airport for his next job.

Walmart will have a larger selection, but if it's just standard stuff you want most convenience stores will have it. If it's just beer then the driver will have them on board for $1 each.

We have done what Steve suggests successfully and it worked out well.

IF though you don’t know when you want to transfer over from TTR to Desire then what we do is book USA Transfers thru Steve from airport to TTR and from desire to airport and take a taxi from TTR to Desire at the point we are ready to transfer over. Pay with pesos. It is a set rate and the bellmen will give you the rate

Very good to know! Does it take long to get a taxi? Check out is 11 and check in is 3.... I assume we can go to desire early and they’ll hold our bags until check in? Or do you have any suggestions on the best thing to do with the time in between?

Does not take long to get a taxi. Minutes or seconds.

Desire will frequently check us in early. However, if they can’t then yes they will hold your bags and you can use the spa to change and hit the pool.

However, what more frequently occurs for us is we check out of our room at TTR and want to do good byes or lunch with the friends we meet at TTR and end up heading over to Desire later than originally planned...hence the advantage of having flexibility via a taxi on transfer day

My suggestion would be to check out from Temptation as early as possible(ie like 8 or 9 am) and go directly to Desire - so that you get the whole day at Desire - much like Temptation they will hold your bags for you until the official check in time and you get a room assigned. FYI - taxis are always available and should arrive quickly - the drive from Temptation to Desire RM will be about 35 to 45 min depending on traffic that day ;)

Steve, do you do this for everyone? We booked Lush Tower and transportation is included but we are thinking of just doing private with USA. What do you recommend?
