Colorado is on our list of adventures. I love to snowboard but I dont think Joe has been on a mountain I'm a very long time. Would you reccomend this place?
Yes! Copper is a great resort for beginners as well as seasoned riders. I board, but I suck at it...and copper is the only place I like to go. The runs are long (so you don't waste all day on the lifts), and the lifts are fast, but slow at the top, so it's easier to get off without falling face first. And its got a lot of runs, many for each skill level to choose from. Fun place, and still cheaper than Vail and others.
