Last year I wasn't feeling great on one day and stuck to water and it didn't affect my enjoyment at all. Go ahead and go and drink whatever you want. Nobody knows you. Nobody gives a shit.
If not taking a shot “alienates” you from other people—find new people because those ones suck. Just be honest and if people have a problem with that F them lol. I must be getting old—I can’t fathom an adult feeling like they need to do a fake shot just so people will still like them or talk to them lmao. It’s TTR, no one knows or caress. Have fun!
It's not a judgment thing,people get worried it's an addiction thing and it makes them uncomfortable to drink around the person who doesn't. You should t have to go into a history of why you dont drink every time someone offers you a shot. So it's more about people trying to be conaiderate. If someone wants to drink, they're going to try to not be around the person who doesn't when they do.
The only thing I drink is Coca Cola. I dont drink alcohol at all. I have been to TTR 5-6 times and on the Boobs Cruise every time. NEVER had any issues. Not only do I have a great time, but I remember it all as well.
Our room always looks out over the quiet pool, since the Jacuzzi room is our contracted room. When we were there last March, it was definitely quiet. There were usually anywhere from 3-5 couples/groups at any given time, and almost all of them were around the swim-up bar. Other than that, maybe 5-10 people on the chez lounge chairs sunning. So, yeah, VERY MUCH "quiet"! Contrast that with the 100+ in the sexy pool, with every chair on the deck taken (though not always occupied), plus people just generally milling around back and forth to the beach, and the buffet is right there too. As for drinking itself, I agree what others have said. Feel free to decline a shot, and no one will even think twice. A simple "no thanks" is all it takes! JandMS
It's perfectly fine to not drink and still love this place. I drink water all day and no one notices.
Neither I nor my wife drink and we had a fantastic time! Sometimes we feel like we don't get our money's worth and alcohol we certainly got our money's worth to everything else! Nobody has ever said anything to us about it when we politely decline. A simple I'm good is all it takes. Of course I don't mind being the human shot glass, or better yet Susie!
