My wife likes long chest hair, I hate it all. So I only do it a few times a year, or when I cant stand it any longer.
For me its a balance between what I like, and what she likes.

Especially at the gym, all sweaty and yick! ill pass on the hair forever.

Brent I too use the the #1 from the neck down, that's why it takes so long, its a lot of surface to cover with anything less than a weed wacker!
I think this is what I am going to do and I do certainly appreciate everyone's opinions and all the options.

I shave, everything*, pretty much every day. My biggest concern about waxing, perhaps oddly, is letting everything grow back enough. But the showers at the resort are not great for shaving so I have promised mrs_smith that I will get it waxed this time.

*The one thing I don't shave is my back and I always get that waxed before traveling.

Just keep this story in mind next time you want to just let it go...

Once, years ago, I inhaled a pube through my nose. Was NOT pretty.

    Shave. That. Shit.

What were you doing to inhale a pube through your nose? Asking for a friend

I can't believe I missed this thread and it jumped out to 4 pages... shoot.

Stacia started shaving her business right after we started dating. I'm absolutely positive that was mere coincidence... *snort* She was never "Junglely" anyway. I dug it.

She progressed to waxing, and then I bought her the laser hair removal which is The Thing. Bam & handled almost for forever, smooth as a newborn's bottom. Not that I think newborns are sexy but their skin is the most awesome it's ever going to be, so.

I told y'all that so I can tell you this about me. I've got this pudedle, well... maelstrom really, of Northern and Western European lineage, and somewhere in there to sort of thin it out there has to be a bit of Amerind. Long story short, hair on top of my head started thinning at 20, then stopped receding at 22. I'm not quite wearing a rug on my front and back sides, but you'd never mistake me for anything other than an animal in the dark.

Noted that lots of the pornguys had their toolkits trimmed up,a nd some of them had the sacks shaven...

And then my lovely says to me, "I think you should do that. I think it'd be fun for me."

And I've never looked back. Regular maintenance of the shaven sack, which does have a brief learning curve y'all, leads to smooth boiled eggs which are apparently fun to play with since it seems to happen a lot. I think that's fun. The trim upwards is a #2, and this is primarily because it just looks weird to have super-clean and smooth tools when the chest and belly still shriek "Wolverine!"

We make i a team game. Stacia uses my beard trimmer like y['all have been talking about to trim my chest to maybe a #3 or #4 length, full front from collar bone to north of groin, where it's faded intot he #2 there. She takes the guard completely off (I think that's #0?) and clips the back and shoulders down to basically nothing. Rub one way, smooth. Rub against the graina nd you could tell there's a bit of stubble. People ususally rub down the body, so it's not an issue.

Like Wally said in the O/P, … if you let it go it can get... nasty.

I did the back waxing one time. Never Again. Toio much acreage, which took too long, and I completely wussed out. Way easier, faster, less painful,a nd actually faster to just clip it off and it's about 95% as effective.

    Dirt 101 !
Gigi hard wax , do it every 2 weeks and it’s easier to do it the next time. Pain is minimal and the end result is awesome. When it starts to grow out never any stubble like razors . When doing your balls keep them tight not wrinkled as this will bring blood sometimes. The wife absolutely loves it and guess who gets more head ? I have no experience with the rest of the body but I do know it would be no stubble when coming back which gives it an A+ for your partner. Do it before vacation and do nothing for over 7 days another A+.
    Dirt 101 the end !

Being I've never had to worry about anyone but Joe seeing it, do most ladies carve out a patch or leave no man standing? Is vajazzling a thing at TTR? If not I think it might be fun! :D
