I find that the new pool is comfortable only from late May through September. The other times have been very uncomfortable for me. The only thing good about it is that I could cut glass with my nipples!
We found it tolerable the first week of November 2017 but it was unusually hot weather wise in October and early November that year. Heard 2018 wasn’t as nice. Also found it tolerable in mid April 2018. Hoping early April is just as good this year. We wouldn’t dare go in December, January or February as we maybe hope for a warmer pool than most.
we went in sept and it was great hopefully march will be warm of enough that we aren't the only ones in hehe
The life blood of the entire resort from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. is the pool, and they don’t have enough sense to keep it at a comfortable temperature. The biggest disappointment of the resort. Seriously, how expensive would it have been to heat it?
I thought that the pool and air-conditioning systems were connected together, so one would think that it would be a little warmer...... The old pool was cold too.
I bet they didn't even think of it since the other pool didn't need it ...but since this pool is so much bigger and a bit deeper it takes longer to warm up . Someone left their common sense at home that day
Most of the hotels I’ve stayed at in the area have at least one heated pool ... Just insane with a whole re build wasn’t included
I don't know how you could build a pool at a resort in Cancun, an area FULL of resorts, and screw up the pool design so badly. Especially at the one resort where most of the entertainment is centered on the pool, and the majority of the guests gather. This has to be the least user-friendly pool in the Yucatan, and it's at the one resort that relies on a sexy pool as the resort centerpiece.
