Desire is about 25 minutes by cab. Not sure on how much a day pass is. However if its like Temptation, your most likely better off to book a couple of days there.
They generally do not do day passes to Desire, unless you are coming from the other Desire resort. However, I have heard of situations where people were offered to "go check out Desire for the day" during the member sales presentation if it looks like you're interested in buying a membership.... Your best option is to book a day or few there, and the rest of your time at Temptation, which is what many lifestyle couples seem to do.
We do 2 days at DRM and 5 at TTR for our trips down there. The 2 days at DRM cost us about the same as 5 at TTR.
