Most people that know me know that I always get a morning, afternoon, and evening latte (or two) at the coffee bar each day. Part of my New Years plan involves cutting back a bit on my java obsession. What else does the coffee bar serve? Do they have any decaf options?
Stop at the lobby bar and get a couple shots of baileys. Take it over to the coffee place and get them to use it in lieu of milk for your latte. Amazing. They make all types of other coffee. And their pastries are good too. I'm sure they have decaf as well.
There are such thing as decaffeinated espresso beans. Definitely a distinct difference in taste but they're out there... not sure what kind of machine they have but get some ground up at your local market and bring it with you. Also found a pretty rad gadget on Amazon recently (I'm a big Amazon whore if you can't already tell haha)... WACACO Nanopresso Portable Espresso Maker, Upgrade Version of Minipresso, Extra Small Travel Coffee Maker, Manually Operated. Perfect for Camping, Travel, Kitchen and Office https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0797T2FYL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_uKmuCb8VXC3XC
I get decaf drinks here regularly but as my Spanish is limited to about 5 words I have no idea how to ask for it. I may just suck it up and stay caffeinated for the trip- we all know I could use it to stay up at Bash
In case you wanted to give it a try: "Do you have any coffee without caffeine?" "¿Tiene algún café sin cafeína?" "May I have a coffee without caffeine?" "¿Puedo tomar un café sin cafeína?" The coffee bar menu looks fantastic, BTW - thanks @Nikki&Ira
generally at the resort any one who works there speaks pretty good English we haven't had any issues at all
