Do you take dukoral before going to ttr?

    Took Dukoral the last time we went to Mexico and didn't get sick. Was thinking about skipping it this time but wanted to get a read from the regulars... Do you take it?

    No... been to Mexico 3 times, Jamaica once and never took Dukoral. My doctor is of the advice that it can be hit or miss and it only tackles one virus and doesn’t prevent anything else.

    By that do you mean you guys haven't gotten sick on any of those trips?

    I was just reading the FAQs on the Dukoral page and apparently it contains formaldehyde. I know in tiny doses that's not a huge deal... just a bit of a turn off.

    Been to Mexico several time and never once took Dukoral. Never been sick.

    Have never taken anything pre-trip and never gotten sick. Goes for Stacia as well.

    We take it for international travel yes. Not specific to TTR though. Works quite well.

    We take it as well. Just picked up our booster perscription yesterday. Gonna be taking it soon

    We have never taken it. Only sickness we have had was self induced from too many drinks the night before.
