We are Apr 6-16 so we will keep a look out for the pink haried hooker. I (Paul) often wear bright color cowboy hats to the pool. Hot pink is my favorite but I have several others.
@Jessica , I would just be sure not to bring anything that you wouldn't want to lose - i.e. shoes for pool. I have lost many a pair! You think, "Oh, I won't get that drunk... Oh, I'll remember my shit..." And then, wham-o, you're wasted, running to the hot tub squealing at the end of the day without a second thought of where your shit is. Wake up groggy the next morning.... the day was a blur... check the lost and found only to be disappointed. Also, re: sky bar - I feel like people more just saunter up there in the middle of the day for lunch or to enjoy the view. It's ALL pool wear up there during the day. At tnight, I've only been up there once for a private party, and that was dressed to theme. So... I wouldn't worry about a special outfit for that. But, definitely check it out though - both the view and the food are great!
Bring a bag to the pool and put everything in it. Well the downside is you might get too drunk and forget said bag. But kind of hard to get back in your room without your key so leave it in the bag. When you get to your room you will then remember to go back and get your bag. We always put ours in the same place so we know one place to look. Check front desk for lost and found. Most everything winds up there, either by TTRers or staff when cleaning up each night.
Well I just bought my carry on bag. The overnight bag I have is way under the max size. I have my list almost done. Bought my bikinis. Still trying to minimize the number of shoes hahA
If anyone is shopping for bikinis, dresslily.com has a great selection of thong/minimal coverage options. Great material and they price between $12 and $25 for the set.
If you or boyfriend says "I can't believe I'm going out in public like this" when leaving the room, you're doing it right
