Hi Everyone! We are going to have our first TTR experience April 20-27 2019 and we are so excited! I do have a few questions, and was hoping you guys could help us out! 1. Tipping and Gifts for the housekeepers- We usually travel to the all-inclusive's in Dominican, and I ALWAYS bring tons of stuff for the house keepers and their families (toys, soaps, feminine products ect) along with $3-$5 cash everyday as a gift to them. Is this something that normally done here as well? I love to help people out, but with all the theme night outfits I need to know if I am gonna need an extra bag! 2. Room Crawls - I have read some stuff on here about these, but I am still a little confused.. Do we just go room to room drinking? if so .. We're totally down! Anyone know of any room crawls during our stay yet? 3. Boobs Cruise- This looks like so much fun and We are totally in! Do we bring our own booze or is it included with the trip? also, how long does it go for throughout the day? 4. The pool- I have seen some photos of people swimming at night- is this a thing? because if its a thing, I am even more excited or were they being sneaky? haha 5. Themes- I keep seeing different theme nights on here - Does anyone have a list of the theme nights that are happening in April?, I know that the resort have their own as well. I just keep seeing different ones around the site and got myself all confused! lol Edited to add question 5 Thank you so much and we cannot wait to meet everyone when we get there - We are getting shirts made that say "it's our first time, be gentle" so you know its us!! haha Cheers Everyone! -Sara
1. Up to you. We tipped $3 a day and had great service. 2.you usually "sign up" on here as a host or guest. The group leader will let everyone know when and where to meet. There will be drinking games and themes in each host room. 3. Do it! Period! Best part of the vacay. Booze included as is a one hour lunch on Isla Mujeres. 4.5 hours approx 4. Pool closes at 7pm.
Tips for our housekeeper $4 a day for us, But that's up to you. We always bring a bottle of something to share on the Boobs Cruise. Fireball most of the time. See you there! ( April 21 - 28) Michelle & John
Hey, we overlap a few days with you guys. 1. Tipping - DEFINITELY tip the housekeeper. We always tip ours with a note of "MAS AQUA POR FAVOR!" They always take great care of us. 2. Room crawls are organized by an ambitious vacationer - not sure if anyone has taken the reigns yet for the week that you'll be there. Each person does their room in a theme, and while you're there... well, you just enjoy the party. I do typically like to organize things, but the problem is, I never know what time it is, and I never know how drunk I'll be on a given day, so I have never taken the responsibility for this. It's a great way to meet people, though! So, if you want to plan it - post it on the April Addicts forum and I'm sure people will join! 3. Boobs Cruise - They take great care of you. Drinks are included. You will likely lose your whole day - leave around 9 or 10? I think? And come back around 4 or 5 maybe? Again, refer to #2 where I say I never know what time it is on vacation. When we get back, we always lose that night because we pass out from drinking too much on the boat that day. 4. Night pool - it will likely be too chilly to swim at night during April. They close the pool to clean all the "sunscreen" out of it. The party is at Bash and trust me, you'll have more fun there. Although... there have been a few nights where we have snuck in a skinny dip after Bash - but I would do it in the quiet pool if I were you. 5. Watch Cancuncare for the themes. They normally do their own thing. I typically do my own theme each night, which I refer to as "What is the least amount of clothing that I could possibly wear and get away with" - and usually somehow that goes along with the theme quite nicely, haha. YOU WILL HAVE A BLAST! Relax and enjoy spring break for adults!!

We are there April 17-22 so come say hi. We are the ones looking like we are having fun and laughing a lot. 1. We always tip. Sometimes we have brought a small gift but honestly, it’s not a developing country. If they can buy it in a Walmart there is no need to pack it as a gift. Leave the feminine products at home and just give them the money you would have spent. If you do bring a gift, leave a note stating that it is a gift so they are allowed to take it and not be accused of stealing. ( yes we’ve been told by the staff that the note is important. Include last name and room number) 2. While I love to plan, the best memories we’ve made at the resort cannot be prearranged. If there isn’t a room crawl when you are there you will still have tons of fun. Remember that sunshine and alcohol ruin some of the best plans so just go with the flow and you’ll have fun. 3. The Boobs Cruise is excellent. It includes lunch and drinks as well as a ton of fun. Bring extra sunscreen and a tip for the crew. 4. Security will crack down on night swimming pretty fast. You’ll be having too much fun at Bash to miss it. Still need to swim? I bet you can score a visit to a new friends hot tub. Bonus: no suits allowed in the hot tubs. 5. Themes can be tricky. You are there for part of some bigger groups who tend to do their own theme as well as the Cancuncare themes and the resort themes. Don’t stress. Wear something you feel sexy and comfortable in (yes that’s to both genders) and have fun.

1. We over tip but Heather left an expensive “accessory” in the room last time and the maid found us at the checkout desk.....more than paid for all the tips we left ( you never know!!!). 2. Walked by some room parties but never knew anyone so we will try harder to be “in the know” this trip or just walk in. 3. BC. Never did... someday we will do this (I (mike) drink too much anyway and ‘man overboard’ comes to mind) but we have all kinds of fun at the pool all day. 4. Swimming at night.... haven’t done because BASH is a blast and we are usually last to leave. Maybe we are missing out? 5. Latest theme calendar attached below (or above??) Not mine.
