Hey guys, I get bringing your own booze so you can have the brand you like, but why do you bring your own water? Doesn't the resort supply an adequate amount? Awesome point about the pens for people who don't always carry one.
Personal preference, sometimes even with a tip we have not had our fridge restocked with water, when you get to your room and need some water, we just want to make sure we have it.
I have a hydroflask that fits a little more than 2 bottles of water at a time. Plus it can keep it ice cold for HOURS of even sitting in the sun (got mine on Amazon for $18 I believe. Totally worth it). Maybe dump cold waters into the flask of a nalgene (bigger but doesn't keep water cold) and leave a note to have housekeeping restock it every day for you? I did housekeeping for a while and it was never an issue to leave extra if they leave me a note. Those guests were always the best guests... Plus they very gracious tippers as well!!
Good to know. In that case, I will have a small tucked away emergency stash. But I will hope not to need it and be drinking it on the way to the airport....
In 10+ trips we always leave $5 and a note asking for more water or soda or whatever we want at that point and NEVER have they not met our requests. So not sure if we are lucky or what but fyi for those who are questioning whether they will need to byo water or not.
i think we will have our transfer stop on the way to get some tequila and Jarritos. what is a good liquor store to go to. were going to need a good selection if possible. were picky
the suction cup hooks for the bathroom are a life saver ..the store across the street stocks pretty much anything you need ..we go to the one to the left and they have good prices for everything from tums to booze .. we always run out of sunscreen and they are priced decently
