My hubby and I would really like to try out Temptation next month. I love the fact that I may have finally found the place where I can not feel out of place wearing my little numbers! The only thing giving us pause is the uncertainty as to how loud it may be at night. We are both very light sleepers. I see there is a "quiet" side and a "chill" side. Can anyone comment as to how quiet the quiet side actually is? Maybe there's a certain room that might be better than another to ensure a good night's sleep? Wondering if the beachfront suite would be more away from the action and maybe the sound of the waves would drown out any party noises. Also, we would really like a jacuzzi outdoors, not indoors. Do I understand not all beachfront suites have outdoor jacuzzis? And all the plush jacuzzi suites now have them outdoors? We appreciate any advice! Thanks!
We loved the quiet side on our last trip. Very peaceful. You get a little music from She but not loud and not late. All the 1st floor units have a outdoor jacuzzi. On the beachfront the 2nd and 3rd floors have them inside.
Quiet pool side is great for sleeping, but beachfront suites are not. Every morning you have groups on the beach and music from the boats taking people out. In the evenings you have the music and fireworks from the pirate ships. Jacuzzi rooms (outdoor tub) are on the ground floor all facing the quiet pool, the next couple of floors are considered ocean view... all great for sleeping.
Quiet pool side is nice and calm at night - almost feels a totally different resort which can be nice to escape from the party sometimes. As everyone else has mentioned, of the Seduction Beachfront Suites, only the ground floor ones (which is 4 of the 12 suites) have jacuzzis outside and it is important to note you cannot guarantee booking these ones if you book this kind of room type. Plush Jacuzzi Rooms on the other hand, all have jacuzzis outside on their ground floor balconies, and it's nice a peaceful facing the quiet side of the resort. Your only other options for jacuzzis are in the Tower (Lush Towers, Master Suites, Penthouse Suites), but they will all have some noise coming from Bash (though actually probably not as bad as you imagine - you actually seem to hear more coming from the hallways under your room doors than from Bash if your balcony door is closed)
Lets be honest... the "quite side" around the quite pool has a lot of noise at night from people yelling in the hallways and slamming doors. Bugs the shit out of me every year of how inconsiderate the guests are of each other. Stumbling back to your room at 2 AM "talking" to each other at the top of your lungs in hallways that are acoustically built like echo chambers is just plain stupid. I know you're having a good time and if you're up everyone should be up! You're still inconsiderate. If you are a really light sleeper you should consider ear plugs at night and then anywhere is the resort is fine. Getting off the soapbox now....... Jamie
I'm with you Jamie. I get up early no matter what time I get to bed, and I don't yell and slam doors at 7 am in respect to other guest. We stayed in Bash, and the only complaint would be how loud the guests are going down the hallway at 2, 3, 4, 5 am. We were on the 6th floor, with no one above us, and as much traffic as there was we had to have been able to hear everyone on the floor below us also. The rooms by the volleyball court should be the quieter rooms as those units do not have common hallways.
The quiet side was very quite in 2014, I cant speak to it now. Even when we were there waiting in line for the restaurant, having drinks, everyone did their best to be quite. I would also suggest you come in February 12-25th somewhere, and join the shit show group, super amazing crowd, and you can wear whatever you want. Its all good.
When you're loaded to the gills you actually think you're being quiet. Haha If you need absolutely no disruptions through the night you'll be hard pressed to find it at TTR.
