Last time I was at TTR was before the remodel. Do they still do the casino night in your Lingerie, then the adult dancer show and Lingerie show by the staff on Wednesday nights or is it just Lingerie night at Bash? What is the lingerie participation level now a days? Can’t wait to check out the updates Jan 30-Feb 4!
We have been there 2x since the reno. No more casino night which is sad .... that was always a good time. I would say the participation regarding Lingerie dancing at bash has been pretty high. I would say 60-70%
We were underwhelmed with the Lingerie night last January, they allowed people to photo & video the models, and then invited all the ladies who dressed for the event to come on stage. A couple of guys dressed for a rodeo (seriously) were openly videoing the entire show, several people asked them to stop, they laughed, security didn't get involved. It sort of put a damper on things.
Same experience as dnlb, we had a guy sitting at the Sexy Pool bar clearly videoing, pointed it out to bar staff (who were very busy) and security , who did nothing, ONCE in 2 weeks a member of ent staff carried a No Photo board around the pool.... given their approach to other things, this will at some point cause problems. They make rules then ignore them when it's convenient..... our 3 pennies worth. P.S. Still miss the old Lingerie / casino night.....
Security on photos and videos of the unwilling (unknowing) is really spotty. It'd be better if they said one way or the other then stuck to it. Personally, we like pics, so we take them... of us and our crew. But, we get why other folks don't dig that. Oops... here I go, bringing up that discussion. Abort! My point is that the instability of what the Rule actually "is" is a problem.
This is the 'Rule' as posted on their website. Due to the unique concept of our resort, we ask that you refrain from taking photos/video around the sexy pool, as well as stipulated theme nights, due to spicy content. Be sure and capture your favorite Temptation Cancun Resort moments throughout all other areas around our spectacular property. Problem is that its only enforced when its brought to security's attention. I think they should consider some sort of signage stating 'No photos/video in this area'. Doubt it would fix the problem, but it might help.
There have been signs at the sexy pool in the past. Last January the Staff walked around with "NO PHOTOS" placards before each event started. The problem is that it's really tough to have a common sense rule, nobody has a problem with John & Stacia taking photos, they are participating and usually right up in front, Brandi runs around and if she's not shaking her butt taking part in whatever is going on she's got her little camera snapping away, she'll send you the photos if you're in them, Lori always wants a picture with the new couple we met that day. But not many ladies feel comfortable when it's the creeper single guys or the couple from the quiet pool who are there fully clothed videoing the ladies who are trying to enjoy what may be the sexiest night of their life, except now they are wondering if the HR manager is going to be calling them when they get back to work next week. We really enjoyed the Casino Night/Lingerie Night setup where you had to be dressed in theme to participate, it wouldn't be that difficult to do again, but TTR has moved everything to Bash now, and the entire flavor changed.
perhaps I should've read this board more thoroughly before we booked. Sounds like a lot more drama going on here than We'd care to deal with.
haha brandi and her camera....love it. Remember when we were throwing peoples shit in the pool. That shit could happen again. Consent is a thing, I like to ask if there is anyone else in the photo if they are ok with it. Most of us keep our pictures private. Others not so much.
Na don't misinterpret the posts. It all depends on the group that is going and when your dates are. If there are lots of singles, or people that don't bother reading the website. Its not a free for all, its not the same as other resorts. Due to the nature of the place some respect and consent is required. As an example if you ask for photo consent, most people will move or be OK with it. Its not a big deal. If your videoing and people have asked you to stop, and you don't. That is a problem.
