So the ladies take such a huge volume of effort to prep for these trips. I want to do the same. In 2014 I shaved it short, yup the whole body, from tip to tail. Its something i do every quarter anyway it just is. I been looking into wax, and want opinions on it. A friend of mine recommended bead wax, and I think a brand called satin smooth. I can get a kit locally no issues. Its the cost that makes me cringe. My wife has no interest in waxing. if she does, its a salon bazillion. So men, dish me up the dirt on the waxing. I have done it before when I was 19, it was not a present experience. there was blood, it hurt, and I have never looked back. Do I do it myself? Do I hit a salon? what am I looking at here. I'm seriously leaning to the shave it all short again. Honestly. (body paint theme night glow stuff has me on edge hehe, nothing like washing that stuff off when you have hair, i will participate dammit, the the utmost best of my ability)
Will the waxing include your bicepts? Seriously though. I tried waxing chest and stomach many years ago. Never again. Very painful. I cant even imagine how bad waxing anything below the waist would have been. I have heard if you go to a professional at a salon its a much better experiance. I myself will stick with shaving.
I remember you trying to convince me to laser it all back in 2014, I told you they would have to put in a new sub-station & backup generators! I'll trim it all short & shave the shrubbery, just so the body paint comes off easier-
Yup and I lazered that shit 8 times, its still here!..... Im still leaning towards the shave, its so easy, and not expensive. And yes as long as the body paint comes off. Do you know how many razors I could have purchased with the money I spent on lasers? Like ALL OF THEM.
Laser takes time, but worth it in the end! Started getting laser back in 2012, and don't regret it at all. Yes, it costs more than razors, but I figured the lack of having to shave (time+supplies), elimination of ingrown hairs, razor burn, and simply how smooth it is I thought made it worth every penny. Today, only occasionally go a few times per year for a touch-up to zap any new follicles (included in package). Make sure to use a well-established studio, experienced AND honest esthetician -- makes a big difference since not every skin and hair tone is compatible. If they tell you it works on everybody, run -- they just want your $$.
I shave it all off. Takes forever as I’m a Sasquatch but worth it while on vacation. Then just keep it shaved every couple days while there. Lots of hassle but I can only imagine the time and expense to laser this guy would be astronomical. Lol
Started laser treatments on my chest and arms back in August and have 3 more treatments scheduled before our trip in April.. 8 total. So far, very happy with the results.. I’ll be doing my stomach and back when I get home. Still will need to shave elsewhere for now, but my biggest problem areas should be gone for good!
